Buffalo Hunter Slot Free Play at Pots of Luck
Buffalo Hunter lands at Pots of Luck with a three-tier bonus ladder that splits single-feature buyers from the players willing to pay the premium. Nolimit City released this 5×4, 40-payline slot in September 2020, and it still holds a place in the studio’s animal-hunt catalogue because the math model delivers something rare: a 12,647x ceiling with a documented max-win probability around 1 in 172 bonus rounds. That figure matters. Most extreme-volatility slots print their advertised caps once every few million spins; Buffalo Hunter makes its number reachable.
Pots of Luck hosts the full Nolimit City portfolio across its 4,000-slot library, so you get access to the bonus-buy versions (100× for single features, 600× for Stampede Super Bonus) alongside the Evolution-powered live casino when you want a break from the prairie. The casino operates under dual UKGC and MGA licences, so GAMSTOP integration and eCOGRA dispute resolution are both in place. Withdrawals sit in Pending status for three business days before processing begins, which is worth noting if you hit a large feature win and want the cash quickly.

Bonus Features
Three scatters unlock 8 free spins and let you choose between Buffalo Horde (symbol upgrades) or Prairie Multipliers (per-symbol multipliers up to 5×). Four scatters award 10 spins with the same fork. Five scatters force the Stampede Super Bonus: 12 spins that fuse both engines.
Every buffalo symbol landing during free spins adds to a collection meter. Reach a multiple of five and you trigger an upgrade event. In Buffalo Horde, one animal type converts to buffalo and you gain two extra spins. In Prairie Multipliers, one animal type gains +1× (capped at 5×) and you gain two spins. In Stampede Super Bonus, 25 collected buffalo energies convert every remaining animal symbol to buffalo with a 5× multiplier active on the same screen.
That 25-energy threshold is where the 12,647× cap becomes concrete. A full-screen buffalo payout at 5× can deliver 10,000× in a single spin, and retriggered spins push the total to the engine ceiling. The reported 1 in 172 max-win probability reflects this: the game is built so that perfect conditions are mechanically achievable, not just theoretically possible.
Mystery dreamcatcher symbols appear in both base game and bonus rounds. When any mystery lands in view, all instances transform into the same single regular paying symbol. Sources report single mystery reveals capable of producing payouts around 2,000×, though that figure depends on both the chosen symbol and the number of mystery positions in play.
🎯 Expert Tip: if you bonus-buy, the 600× Stampede cost is steep but mathematically coherent. Buying a single feature at 100× gives you one engine; Stampede at 6× the cost gives you both engines plus the 25-energy full-conversion mechanic. The premium is the price of the ceiling.

Promotions and Tournaments
Pots of Luck runs a Rewards Programme with mission-based badge tiers and a Rewards Store where accumulated points redeem for free spins, deposit bonuses and cashback. Store items carry 50× wagering, which matches the main welcome bonus structure. Buffalo Hunter qualifies for all standard promotions, though Skrill and Neteller deposits exclude you from bonus eligibility across the casino.
The welcome offer is 100% up to £100 plus 20 free spins on Book of Dead, minimum deposit £20, with 50× wagering on the bonus portion only and a 3× bonus cashout cap. That cap means a maximum £300 withdrawal from the £100 bonus, so a single large Buffalo Hunter feature win in bonus play will exceed the limit. Test the slot in demo first, then use Pots of Luck login when you’re ready to deposit.
Versions and Variations
Buffalo Hunter is a standalone title with no direct sequel, though Nolimit City later expanded its ‘Hunters’ theme with Duck Hunters: Happy Hour and other iterations. The prairie setting, animal-collection meter and three-tier scatter ladder remain unique to this slot. Alternative RTP configurations exist: the default is 96.01%, but some operators deploy a 94.11% variant. Pots of Luck lists the standard RTP across its Nolimit City catalogue, and the bonus-buy versions lift RTP slightly to 96.34% (single feature) and 96.41% (Stampede).
Mobile play is fully supported through HTML5, so the slot runs in browser on iOS and Android without requiring a native app. Pots of Luck does not maintain verified App Store or Play Store listings, so you’ll access the game via the responsive mobile site.
